about
“I find making music hard. It's like a battle. I always have such clear visions for things, which can be difficult to interpret into audio. Putting anything out makes me feel so exposed and vulnerable, and it's so easy to allow your original vision to become compromised. Stutter is really a celebration of this battle. I commonly make music to very rigid thematic visions. For Stutter I tried to create something that's less linear and story based, and had more focus on more abstracted ideas of colour, mood and random objects that seem to fit the desired tone - like an orange box cutting knife. I feel like it's my most personal release to date and the one I'm happiest with. It's ruthless, uncompromising and stuttery.” —French Mount Ultra
